Ingredients
- 1 pack Qetoe Low Carb Noodles
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/3 cup cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan to serve
Directions
- Prep the noodles:
- Cook Qetoe noodles according to pack instructions (rinse or soak in hot water until soft). Drain well and set aside.
- Sauté mushrooms:
- In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release moisture and begin to brown.
- Add garlic:
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until fragrant (but not browned).
- Add cream:
- Pour in the cream and let it gently simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine with noodles:
- Add the Qetoe noodles to the pan and toss to coat in the creamy garlic mushroom sauce. Let everything warm through for 1–2 minutes so the noodles soak up flavour.
- Finish and serve:
- Turn off heat. Sprinkle with grated parmesan if using. Toss once more and serve hot. Garnish with fresh parsley or chilli flakes for a little extra flair.
